Monika Ślósarczyk

CONTEMPORARY UNIQUE PAINTER | CIESZYN, POLAND

Monika Ślósarczyk is a contemporary painter who developed a distinctive artistic language of her own. Drawing from such movements as colorism, organic painting, and abstraction, she combines these influences into a personal form that resists imitation.

Over the years, her work has been featured in over 200 exhibitions.

Her style is rooted in a deliberately abbreviated anatomy and a deep understanding of movement and gesture, allowing her paintings to retain a strong sense of vitality and presence. It allows her to form a dialogue between reality and the artist’s subjective perspective.

My work preserve the fractions of a second in which the world around me forms into something, their impressions, colors, forms, movements of light, gestures - moments and their flashes... even those that remain under the eyelids... because only by being in the moment do we learn something about eternity.

After graduating at Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1996, She began exhibiting professionaly.
